Proposals for full or half day workshops for the 2024 Hamlyn Symposium can now be submitted to the conference organisers. You need to provide a brief outline of the workshop session, learning outcomes and a list of national and international speakers you plan to invite and a budget outlining the proposed running costs. Remote speakers can be considered but in-person attendance is strongly preferred.

Proposals need to be led by an academic institution but can have industry partners. A max. of 4 named workshop organisers are permitted per proposal.

Feedback on proposals will be provided based on the following criteria:

  • fit/relevance;
  • programme structure and faculty makeup;
  • and expected audience numbers

If successful, workshop organisers will be supported by a member of the local organising committee to help make the final arrangements including publicity, website, inviting speakers, inviting paper submissions, completing the final programming etc.

The call is now closed.
