Alice Segato obtained the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. In September 2018, she obtained the Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, defending the thesis “Surgical 3D Path Planning For Keyhole Neurosurgery and Deep Brain Stimulations with Patient’s Tractography Information”. In December 2021, she obtained the Ph.D. cum Laude at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) of the Politecnico di Milano, defending the thesis “Novel Path Planning And Autonomous Control Methods For Needle Steering Systems In Keyhole Neurosurgery”, working in the context of the EDEN2020 European Project. Since 2021, she is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Surgical Robotics and Artificial Intelligence area at Nearlab, Politecnico di Milano, Milano, Italy, working in the context of the Artery European Project. Her main research interests include Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the field of Minimal Invasive Neurosurgery.
