Mohamed E. M. K. Abdelaziz received the B.Sc. (Highest Hons.) degree in mechatronics engineering from the German University in Cairo, Cairo, Egypt, in 2014, the M.Sc. (cum laude) degree in robotics and mechatronics from the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, in 2016, and most recently, the Ph.D. degree in MR safe robotics and instrumentation from Imperial College London, London, United Kingdom.

He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery, Imperial College London. His research interests include MR safe robotics, image-guided interventions, and multimaterial/multifunctional medical devices.
